• Yvonne Learning Center is a division of Hope Community Development Corporation. We rely on the generous donations
of our friends in the community to support our mission and
keep our school open.
• As a private school, YLC receives no direct support
from taxpayers or from the Department of Education.
• Since most families of YLC students are very low
income, student tuition and fees cannot be raised
to a level where they even come close to covering the
full cost of providing the high quality educational
experience offered by YLC.
• Our low-income, working families are frequently unable
to fully cover tuition and fees, even after scholarship
assistance.
• The percentage of revenue YLC dedicate to administrative
and fundraising expenses is well below that of
similar organizations.

IN KIND DONATIONS
YLC always welcomes donations of school furniture,
school supplies, office / classroom equipment, books
and teaching materials. Contact us at 305-758-3235
for a pickup (large items only) if you are unable to
transport your donation to the school.
